Elinchom 150cm Octa

Sometimes you have to be spontaneous, especially when the lighting outside is stunning. We seldom get lighting this perfect in Leicester. Often when this happens I have nothing ready and I just sit disappointed. Yet on this occasion, I was fully prepared with my new Elinchom 150cm Octa.

I asked Kate to quickly get ready and we went outside onto the park in Queniborough. I knew we didn't have a lot of time to shoot as the golden hour truly is that, an hour of stunning light. Using the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II to get pleasing bokeh of the silver birch trees and the 150cm Octa to fill the shadows, it was a perfect combination.

Every so often everything just falls into place. This was one of those times, the natural light, the light from the Elinchrom Octa and Kate's styling. This also meant that the retouching in Adobe Lightroom was very simple too. Overall It was super fun which yielded great results. The perfect location shoot and a great test for the new Elinchrom 150cm Octa.
